This represents the passionate love that Jesus has for mankind. His love never fails, or dies down, but, keeps coming and coming, in ever increasing passion for us, so much that God sent His only Son to die in our place to atone for our sins, so that anyone who believes in Him, asks for forgiveness, and gives their life to Jesus, will not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For many people, it is hard to believe we are worth dying for, but the very God of this universe thought we were worth it, enough so that He gave up his own life, to give us eternity with Him. He paid the highest price of all for you and me, with His own life. His love is the most powerful force in the universe.
