20 X 16 original acrylic on stretched canvas by Nancy Cupp.
The original is also painted along the sides. The original was finished on June 19, 2010 and presented to the pastor of the church, Scott Estep a week later.
This painting is based on a vision that Neil Harder had for Dayspring Assembly of God, Bowling Green, Ohio. He had this vision almost 2 years earlier and was looking for an artist that could paint it. This was his first vision. Neil saw a barrier between Earths atmosphere and what appeared to be Outer Space, or darkness, that was stopping the Holy Spirit and blessings to pour down to the people. God wanted to pour out His spirit, but, there was a barrier in the way. An opening appeared over the church and God began to pour out His Spirit and blessings to the church. It splashed and spread across the land, touching lives where ever it went.
This painting was finished the day before the pastor called the church to a week of prayer and fasting. He opened the church each evening for prayer. On Thursday night, Neil explained the vision to the church and showed the painting to everyone. The pastor called the congregation to come down for prayer, repentance, and anything that might be blocking them from a breakthrough. Through this painting that Neil commissioned, the people were able to see a visual image of what Neil saw.

Interesting piece, similar to prophetic message sketch 22 SANCTIFY, only I painted mine much more abstractly.
