Description
This is a painting of a blue peacock with a pink sunflower framing the peacock's head, with flowers and swirling rainbow colors behind it. Peacocks are such a magnificent, colorful bird. In many cultures the peacock is considered sacred.
Christians adopted the symbol of the peacock to represent immortality and resurrection, because it sheds its feathers each year and grows newer, brighter ones each year. The peacock is mentioned in 1 Kings 10:22 when the ships of Solomon brought back peacocks and other riches every three years.

Ephesians 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly [places] might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God.
As an artist, when I see colors in the scriptures, that excites me! God’s wisdom is multicolored! His wisdom is so vast, and he wants us to know it and HIM.
