I have a friend who raised Araucana chickens and I bought some of her eggs. They are naturally these colors. They were so pretty that I hated to eat them, so I used them in a painting first. The natural brown and aqua Araucana eggs are laying on a scrap of sheep skin so they would have a soft bed to lay on. I would have called the painting soft boiled eggs, but they were not boiled, so I just called it soft eggs because of the soft wool they were on. I know, it was sort of a silly name, but, what can I say? I used Prismacolor Colored Pencils. The size is 9 by 12 inches on Strathmore Bristol 100 pound paper.
