This was inspired by a photo from a friend of mine who takes gorgeous photos of her view from her home in northwest Ohio. She takes lots of pictures at sunset. This one caught my eye, because when you look more carefully, you can see an angel over the trees blowing a trumpet. It really looked that way in the photo. I wish you could see the actual photo, but, it is not mine to share. She did give me permission to do a painting of it though.
I called it Trumpet Practice because it reminded me of the angels that will be blowing the trumpet, or more accurately the shofar, when Jesus returns for His followers and calls them all home. What a glorious day that will be, when we are changed in the twinkling of an eye, and meet Jesus in the air. Can't wait!
